Mark Herzlich boom roasted cancer...its official. His long journey back from Ewings Sarcoma took a huge step in the right direction as he participated in his first practice since being diagnosed back in May. Here is a video of Herzlich practicing from ESPN.
Herzlich has been interviewed dozens of times since his fight began back in May and he is one of the few players who is both a great player and a great person. For as good as he is on the field, I can honestly say he's an even better person.
BTW...Early enrollee Kevin Pierre-Louis is standing next to him in most of the video shots...can you say protégé? He looks a lot bigger than I thought he would be.
